Richard Forgione started Forgione Associates in 1987 and is a well- respected industry veteran. Richard began his foodservice career1967 when he owned and operated six fast food outlets with his two brothers. After 8 years in the retail end of the business, he and his brothers spent 18 years in their family-owned manufacturing business, operating three facilities; one producing ice cream cones, another producing syrups and toppings, and the third producing candy. As Vice President of the company, Richard headed the Sales and Marketing end of the business and supervised the sales force and broker network. In 1987, he and his brothers sold two of the three manufacturing plants and ventured in separate directions.

Theresa Forgione
is Richard’s partner in life for 41 years as well as in business for the past 30 years. Theresa helped Richard in all aspects of growing the business and initially acted as the Customer Service and Inside Sales Person. Theresa develops sales to Distributors by working with their Salespeople and Operators. Theresa is responsible for Event Marketing, Food Show Planning and is our School and Healthcare Specialist. Theresa, in addition to sales, overseas office and personnel.

John Brunhard began his foodservice career in a family owned and operated restaurant in Brooklyn.
After a tour as a US Marine, he entered foodservice selling syrups and toppings for Consolidated Brands. Worked his way up the ladder becoming Regional Sales Manager of Boyer Candy Co., a division of Consolidated Brands. After the sale of Consolidated, took the position of National Sales Manager of American Almond Products, Brooklyn NY., supervising a National Broker Network for the baking industry where he hired Forgione Associates as their first Foodservice Broker in New York. John joined Forgione Associates in 2013, developing sales with Distributors, Multi-Unit Accounts and Operators and in 2014 John became a managing partner.

Our goal is to “forge” mutually beneficial relationships with our customers - manufacturers, distributors, and operators-- in order to maximize sales growth for all.
